City's Science Museum Creates Minecraft Maps Of Bristol


The city's science museum has created Minecraft maps of Bristol

The museum provides free Minecraft maps of Bristol to encourage digital reconstruction.



We The Curious created the maps to its Minecraft workshops as part of the Festival of What If.



Life science officer Tom Rodgers said: "There was an eerily spherical rollercoaster, a huge rainbow and a person transformed College Green into an eruption volcano."



Minecraft is a video game, but there is no winning or losing. Gamers create digital worlds.



Rodgers stated that there was no Metrobus or Arena However, maybe this isn't what 12 year olds are worried about.



The maps of the museum cover the area around Harbourside. They can be downloaded from the museum’s Twitter page.

Mr Rodgers stated that he had never held such a digital event before. However, he stated that he wanted to encourage people to give it a go and provide them with new ideas.
